Pick-up and Drop-off
We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and we will travel to Lake Kari on the southern slopes of Mount Aragats, which is 3,200 meters above sea level. From here we will begin to climb to the Northern peak of Mount Aragats. This path is difficult and it is not intended for beginners. In the beginning, we will climb the Southern slopes until we reach the mountain pass (3,800m) located between the Southern and Western peaks. Then, we will descend to the crater on Mount Aragats (3,540m). After relaxing at the crater, we will begin our ascent to the Northern peak. The views from the peak are simply indescribable. You will be able to see the other peaks of Aragats, the huge crater, and the majestic Mount Ararat. After relaxing and eating lunch at the peak, we will return to Lake Kari using the same path.
To note, there are real and fake Northern peaks and the difference between them is only a few meters. For safety purposes, all tourists will ascend to the false Northern peak.
