Tour description
In the morning, we will meet you at your hotel in Yerevan and we will take you to Lake Kari on the southern slopes of Mount Aragats. This lake is located 3,200 meters above sea level. After we reach the lake and admire the views it provides, we will begin our hike to the peak of Aragats, which is 3,887 meters high. Aragats is an extinct volcano that has 4 peaks. The southern peak is the lowest of the four and it is the easiest one to climb. After hiking for 2.5 to 3 hours, we will reach the southern peak, which will provide you with amazing views. After we relax and have lunch, we will return to Lake Kari, where we will travel to Mount Aragats’ well-known mystery spots. It seems like cars are able to move upwards on their own on this road. We will try to figure out this mystery and continue on to the Amberd Fortress. After we take a small tour of the fortress, we will return to Yerevan.
